Job Title: Tandoori Chef

Salary: £26k to £30k GBP

Duties:

  • Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
  • Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings
  • Approve and “polish” dishes before they reach the customer
  • Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages • Arrange for repairs when necessary
  • Remedy any problems or defects

Job Title: Waiter

Salary: £9.50 GBP/hr

Duties:

  • Take customers’ food and drink orders
  • Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner
  • Suggest appetisers and meals to customers based on the menu and specials
  • Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience
  • Confirm orders with the chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested
  • Assist with setting tables and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties

Salary: £9.50 GBP/hr

Duties:

  • A hostess or host greets customers as they enter a restaurant
  • Takes their reservations or puts them on a waiting list
  • Gives them menus and shows them to their seats
  • You may also handle phone calls and customer queries about the restaurant and menu
  • Assist various restaurant staff when necessary
